The Business Entity commenced commercial operations in 1988, under the entrepreneurship of Mr. M.S. De Zoysa. Having initially catered to the Local Market Demand, the company subsequently undertook Contract Manufacturing and Export of Coir based products, to buyers in Korea, China, Netherland, Iran, New Zealand, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Belgium and Republic of South Africa.

The company since its inception had been using the best quality Coir, that is grown in the Southern parts of Sri Lanka. MC Enterprises is proud to adopt a No Subcontract Policy, in Production, whilst managing the Inbound and Outbound Logistics and Supply Chain functions independently, by Experienced and trained Staff.
The Production Facility is located in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka, with a 4000 Sqft. State of the Art Manufacturing Plant, with 7 Fully Automated Hydraulic Compressing Machines and employs an Experienced Work Force of over 40.
The competitive advantage of MC Enterprises is the ability to offer Customized Products, based on the requirement of each Customer. Further adhering to Delivery Deadlines & having an in-house Customer Service Team, had been critical success factors, of the business model.
MC Enterprises has taken steps to provide Employment to youth in the Southern Province, as a CSR Initiative, in Year 2010.
